Jean (Gad Elmaleh), a shy waiter working in a grand hotel, is mistaken for a young millionaire by beautiful, scheming adventuress Irene (Audrey Tautou). When she discovers his lowly status, Irene beats a quick retreat. But lovestruck Jean has no intention of letting her escape, and pursues her to the Cote d’Azur. Quickly running out of money, he adopts a new lifestyle, setting himself up as a gigolo and moving in to a magnificent luxury hotel. Irene, at last accepts this new Jean. She starts to give him advice. She grows closer to him, not realizing that love is working its subtle magic on her too.

I went to watch this movie yesterday. Well, after all it's French movie festival season 埋去趁下熱鬧囉. When the first line showed on the screen, everyone chuckled, it was in French. No one could understand what does it means. I thought I was in the wrong cinema...

I enjoyed this French movie from start till the end. Although I don’t understand what they are talking, by looking at the actors’ face expression and motion, you can roughly know what’s happening. If you can’t read face expression very well, English subtitle are available throughout the movie, it makes the movie lots more interesting. The story line quite nice and contemporary. Unlike most of the 'commercial' one, when it start and you'll know how it gona end. I would highly recommend this movie to all of you. Please go watch it, and I'm sure you'll like it.
